Holly and Joe’s November wedding was all about balance: natural in feeling, but elevated in execution. With Holly’s background in conservation, the flowers needed to feel organic, even when working with more sculptural ingredients like calla lilies. Their ceremony in the Garden Room at Kin House centred on a single design move: softening the trellis backdrop with a large-scale installation of four floral columns, creating a layered, immersive scene for their vows.
The palette centred on crisp whites and deep burgundy, warmed with candlelight and foraged texture. Spindleberry and oak foliage formed the backbone of the designs, with extraordinary eight-foot rose canes and the very last of some British blooms woven through every space. Velvet bows, luxurious linens and twinkling candlelight heightened the sense of occasion, while a meadow-style surround at the top table created an intimate pocket of flowers for their first meal as newlyweds.
