This late-June celebration at Kin House was a long-awaited moment for G & J – a post-Covid, post-babies wedding that centred on ease, style and an epic party. The florals were designed to layer the spaces rather than dominate them, keeping everything light and impeccably considered, much like G’s bespoke pleated gown, which defined the style of the day.
The Garden Room featured a vase-and-plinth installation playing with height and scale for a hit of drama. In the Kilvert Hall, footed bowls sat at the centre of each round table with generous gatherings of fruit: grapes, apricots, peaches and gooseberries. The details were all in the small things: dainty daisies, tiny heuchera leaves, and my personal favourite, little bud vases of strawberries still on the vine. G later told me they were the flowers of her dreams, which felt like the perfect full-circle moment on a day that was all about quiet confidence and beautiful restraint.
