Inspired by the natural meadows surrounding the lake at The Waters Edge, Olivia and Mike’s flowers were designed to feel light, loose and lived-in; more like something growing than something arranged. With Olivia’s background in fashion PR and a love of expressive design, we leaned into a more textural, Australian-influenced floral style.
Spirea and jasmine were woven through the urns alongside ruffled British garden roses and oversized marguerite daisies for scale and contrast. Although the weather had other plans, the florals still brought that meadow-led feeling into every space. And while I didn’t see Olivia and Mike on the day itself, their messages the following morning – full of kindness and appreciation – were a beautiful way to reflect on this gorgeous day.
