Abundance was at the heart of Freya and Max’s early-July wedding. Freya’s mum played a big part in shaping the floral vision, championing impact and scale, which led to a true country-garden feeling that poured into every space. I’m incredibly proud that every single bloom used was 100% British; sourcing a wedding of this scale at the height of summer took real care, and I’m so grateful to the family for the trust they gave me.
One of the most special details was the cosmos grown in Freya’s mum’s cutting garden, gathered and woven into the bridal bouquet and the flower girls’ posies, alongside other flowers picked from the family grounds. Buckets of British malope, clematis, jasmine, hollyhocks, roses and richly scented garden roses filled the church and marquee with that overflowing midsummer energy. When even the vicar paused to comment on the flowers – and Freya’s family kept exclaiming “THE FLOWERS!” – I knew we’d created something truly magical.
