From the very beginning, Becca’s brief was beautifully simple: she wanted it to be full of flowers, rich in colour and unmistakably autumnal, and she trusted me completely to run with it. That trust gave us the freedom to work with the very best of the season, layering pinks, burgundies and warm oranges through generous, abundant designs.


One of the most poignant details was the inclusion of violas in memory of Becca’s much-loved grandma. We sourced some and grew others specially so they could be woven into her bouquet – a tiny, deeply personal detail that had us both in tears at the handover. The ceremony arch was built on a base of spindleberry, layered with juicy dahlias, chrysanthemums and autumn foliage; a true love letter to October.
