Elegant Modern Church Wedding with Immersive Meadow Florals

Impact was everything for Sarah and George’s September ceremony at Amesbury Abbey. With its scale, height and presence, the church demanded florals that could truly hold their own. From the very beginning, the brief was clear: this was a big church, a big moment, and the flowers needed to rise to it. George’s reaction on first seeing the space was unforgettable – genuinely blown away – and for a groom, that says everything.

Hot pink was the joyful thread running through the day, a nod to Sarah’s shoes, the bridesmaids’ dresses and the groom’s socks, woven into a rich, elegant palette of deep greens, softer pinks and a hint of pale blue to temper the forest green and fuchsia stationery. Cosmos, dahlias, roses and hydrangeas delivered those flashes of vibrant colour, with particularly glorious locally-grown dahlias (sourced less than five miles away) giving the designs their full, show-stopping presence.
