Modern Autumn Wedding with Burgundy and Hedgerow Florals at Kin House

Texture and colour led every decision for Penny and Alex’s November wedding at Kin House. Penny’s vision leaned into autumn at its most refined: rich, rusted tones, hedgerow references and immersive meadow-style designs to stand amongst as they said their vows. The palette was carefully balanced: warm, orange-leaning hues without tipping into anything too bold, anchored with rich burgundy throughout.

Trailing movement became a key thread across the day, from Penny’s bouquet with jasmine and amaranthus to the layered meadows and table designs. Foraged bracken brought that dry, coppery texture Penny loved, softened with abelia, jasmine and clematis vines to create a full, sculptural base. The final flourish came from the very last British chrysanthemums of the season which were lush and perfectly timed.
